Malorie Kay Beaver is the sister of Rachel Beaver.
Malorie spent most of her childhood being raised by her maternal grandmother, Janice prior to her parents' history of drug and alcohol addiction. She eventually went to live with her mother, Stephanie when she was seventeen. In 2017, Malorie started dating Lane Fernandez. During the first six months of their relationship, Malorie was a victim of domestic violence. After falling pregnant in October of that year when she was just eighteen years old, she left Lane as she was unsure of who the father of her child was, given that she had slept with a guy named Alex around the same time she slept with Lane. She gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Emerson Kay Fernandez in July of 2018, two months before her nineteenth birthday.
By the time her daughter was seven months old, Malorie pushed her responsibilities as a teen mother onto her mother, Stephanie, while she would go out partying with her friends. This caused a rift between Malorie, her mother and her sister, Rachel. Eventually, Malorie started to take more responsibility for her daughter, especially after learning that Lane was the biological father of Emerson when she had a DNA test to figure out who the father of her daughter was. For a short period of time, Stephanie had temporary custody of Malorie's daughter until she was ready to take care of her by herself. Since the show ended, Malorie gained a place of her own to provide for herself and for her daughter. She also began dating a new guy and became pregnant for a second time in 2022. On December 30 of the following year, Malorie gave birth to a son, who she named Ascecieus Seagren Storm.
Sadly, in 2022, Lane passed away at the age of 28, two or three weeks after his second child with his wife was born.
