Lux Russell Lowry (born August 5, 2017) is the third son of Kailyn Lowry, and the first child of her ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.
His gender was left unannounced until his birth, as Kailyn did not wish to know. He also didn't receive a name until two months after he was born.
Lux has two half-brothers through Kailyn: Isaac and Lincoln.

It took two months for Kailyn and Chris to agree on a name for their son. Kailyn revealed that her friend originally was going to name her baby Lux, but did not go ahead with this and Chris agreed to this name for his and Kailyn's son. It is unknown what made her choose his middle name, Russell.
Kailyn wanted to give Lux the name, Murphy if he was a girl, but none of her family, friends or fans agreed with the name. She however, was in love with the name Nine for a boy.
Lux is the only son of Kailyn's first three children to share a blood sibling; his younger brother, Creed Lopez is also the son of Chris and Kailyn and was born in lockdown during 2020 when the COVID pandemic was ongoing.
Like his siblings, Lux is mix raced. Through his parents, he and Creed are both half white on Kailyn's side and half black on Chris's side.
