Leah Leann Shirley (born on November 12, 2008) is the daughter of Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley.
She has two half siblings: Emilee Shirley (from Gary) and James Glennon (from Amber). She also has a step-mother, Kristina Anderson and a step-sister, Karly.

Leah was born during a toxic relationship between her parents.
Since meeting Kristina, Leah has developed a very strong bond with her stepmother. In 2023, she asked Kristina to adopt her, which triggered Amber.
Amber and Leah's relationship is on and off but knowing about her mother's mental health and legal issues, Leah does try to support her through her hard times.
She shares the same middle name as her mother (Leann).
Like her mother, Leah wears glasses and contact lenses.
