Kaiser Orion Griffith was born to Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith. Kaiser has a half brother, Jace Evans, two half sisters; Emery Griffith and Ensley Eason, a step-sister, Maryssa Eason, and a step-brother, Kaden Eason.
In May 2019, Kaiser and his sister, Ensley were removed from their mother's home after his stepfather, David shot and killed the family dog for being physically aggressive with Ensley. Kaiser went to stay with his father and his grandmother while Ensley went to stay with Barbara and their older brother, Jace. Kaiser soon returned to his mother's home in July of the following year alongside Ensley.
In 2017 when Kaiser was between the age of two and three years old, allegations of abuse towards him were made by his father, Nathan after Kaiser allegedly claimed that David would spank his butt or pull him by his arms when he requested to be given food. It is unknown if these allegations are true, but regardless, Kaiser remained with his mother at the time.

Like his brother, Jace, Kaiser's birthday is continuously errored. He is believed to be born on June 29, 2014 which is confirmed by Jenelle, but his wristband when he was born was typed as June 19, 2014.
Kaiser has a half sister named Emery from his father's previous marriage, but it is unknown if he regularly visits with her.
Until 2024, Kaiser had not seen Nathan since he was seven years old. He almost got the chance to see his father in 2024, but the visitation was cancelled because Nathan could not get permission from his probation officer while in rehab. This really affected Kaiser as he broke down and was emotional over the fact that he was let down for the first time in two years.
When Jenelle was pregnant with Kaiser, although Nathan was proven to be his biological father, Jenelle still had to carry out a paternity test to prove that Nathan was his father because she was legally married to Courtland Rogers, meaning by law Courtland was his father. The court even provided Jenelle with the fact that she could not register Kaiser's surname as Griffith, again, because she was married to someone else and he almost had the same surname as his mother and brother. However, after Kaiser was born, the courts confirmed he was able to have the same surname as Nathan because he was officially proven to be his biological father.
Kaiser was a victim of verbal and physical abuse by his stepfather David, as Jace would on a number of occasions tell Barbara that David would spank Kaiser, specifically for no reason. However when Kaiser accidentally wet himself when David tried to put a pull-up on him, David retaliated by spanking him so hard that Kaiser was left crying. This incident was shared between Barbara and Nathan, which angered the two.
Kaiser was approximately just over a year old when his parents split up.
Kaiser's first name means Emperor in German. His middle name, Orion means "heaven's light" or "rising in the sky" in Greek. Jenelle considered giving him the middle name, Abel, but somehow changed her mind.
