Jade Cline is a former regular on Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant and current regular on Teen Mom 2 starting in the second half of the ninth season. Jade replaced Jenelle Eason.
Jade met her boyfriend, Sean Austin in 2014 when she was 17 and he was 21. They dated for two years before she fell pregnant at the age of 19. On September 18, 2017, Jade gave birth to her first child, Kloie Kenna Austin. After years of a toxic relationship with Sean, Jade eventually married him in 2024.
Jade's mother, Christy has a history of drug and substance abuse. Jade's father died from a drug overdose when she was a baby. Her stepfather, Corey is also a recovering drug addict. In 2021, Jade had plastic surgery and was left hours in agonising pain at her air BnB with only Sean and Briana DeJesus to care for her without pain medication, as her mother did not return with her prescription until three hours after Jade returned home from the hospital. Jade spent a long period of time with no contact with her mother after this incident that almost cost her life. However, she was able to forgive Christy after taking some time apart from her. Prior to her near death experience, Jade has developed a close friendship with Briana.
