Jace Vahn Evans is a cast member on Teen Mom. He was born August 2, 2009 and is the son of Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis. He has three half-siblings: Jacob Lewis, Kaiser Griffith & Ensley Eason, and two step-siblings: Maryssa Eason & Kaden Eason. He is currently in the custody of his maternal grandmother Barbara Evans because Andrew isn't involved in Jace's life, and Jenelle has been in trouble with the law numerous times.
After battling over Jace for over a decade about custody, Jenelle was awarded custody of her son in March 2023 when Jace was thirteen years old. However, he ran away from his mother's home on three different occasions. After Jace made allegations of abuse to CPS and the culprit being David, Jace was removed from Jenelle's home and taken into temporary foster care. During his time in foster care, Jace made contact with Andrew for the first time in over ten years. They talked about meeting, but it never went ahead as it was previously claimed that the father and son were not as committed to making future plans of being in each other's lives. Jace later returned to his mother's home in February 2024, not long after the charges against David were dropped and Jenelle filed for legal separation from her husband. It is currently unknown if Jace maintains contact with Barbara, who no longer talks to Jenelle.
Jace has been passive aggressive towards Jenelle and his siblings for almost a year and because of his behavior and knowing that Barbara would not be able to help out because his aggression was too much for her to handle, Jenelle has seeked help from Jace's maternal family and he is currently living with Andrew and his grandmother, Diana Lewis until the summer vacation ends.

During his debut on the first episode of the second season, 16 & Pregnant, an error was made when introducing Jace to the screen; his middle name Vahn was not shown, plus his date of birth was typed incorrectly. His date of birth was shown to be August 6, 2009; however, Jenelle confirmed on one of her Instagram posts when celebrating her son's birthday that he was actually born on August 2, 2009.
It is rumoured that Jace's father, Andrew has another child called Jake. However, Jake has never been seen nor mentioned by Andrew since his brief returns during the third and ninth season of Teen Mom 2. Therefore, he's currently known to be the only child of Andrew.
He was in Barbara's care from the age of nine months to 13. He was then placed into Jenelle's care in March 2023 because of his ongoing outbursts and mental health problems, which were proven to be too much for Barbara to handle.
Jace was diagnosed with ADHD when he was four years old after he started becoming physically and verbally aggressive, mainly towards Barbara and his cousin, Gabriel.
He once told Barbara that he wanted to become a marine biologist.
After a physical altercation with his stepfather, David and numerous flees from his mother's home, Jace was taken into temporary foster care. He then at some point was placed back into his mother's care after she filed for legal separation from David in February 2024.
It is unknown if Jace has contact with Barbara since the incident with David. But his mother definitely has no contact with Barbara.
For the first time in over 12 years, Jace got into contact with Andrew; this may have taken place when he was living in a foster home. The two exchanged plans to meet soon, but it turns out that the father and son grew apart and it is unknown if Jace has expressed any more about possibly meeting Andrew in the future. Later during the 2024 period, Jace eventually did meet Andrew for the first time, as a photo of the father and son was released on social media, showing Andrew to be looking more healthier and his appearance was more better than the previous years. It is likely that the father and son are not in contact as they have not met since the first meeting, possibly because Jace is back in Jenelle's care and Jenelle holds a grudge against Andrew for his abusive past towards her. In May 2025, after a prolonged period of aggressive behavior, Jace was sent to live with his father and grandmother until the summer vacation ends in July 2025. Jenelle confirmed this in a recent TikTok of May 2025.
Since her debut on the second season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter ended, Jenelle has had to report Jace to the police more than once because he smashed up her personal items in their home on more than one occasion. Jenelle also confirmed that Jace was recently diagnosed with Defiant Disorder and he smokes marijuana. She also said that he does not take his regular medication for his ADHD and ODD.
