Brianna Jaramillo is one of the five moms who stars on Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant.
Brianna was raised by her mother, Jessica for most of her life, alongside four other siblings including her older sister, Vanessa. Brianna met and began dating Danae Hudson for three years; she soon discovered Danae was a transgender female to male but this did not affect the way she felt about him. During a break from her relationship with Danae, Brianna slept with one of her high school friends and became pregnant. Once she told both Danae and the father, Danae stepped up and got back together with her. The biological father chose to show no interest in the upbringing of their child so Brianna decided to allow Danae to raise the baby with her. On August 26, 2017, Brianna welcomed her first child, a son named Braeson Messiah Jaramillo. Braeson was born with his forearm missing, but as he grew older, Brianna received support from professionals on how to handle her son being partially disabled. After a toxic relationship with Danae over the years, Brianna decided to call it quits for the final time when Braeson was two months old. She soon began dating a new guy named Robert, who was welcomed into the family by her mother and older sister.
In 2018, Brianna, Jessica and Robert all relocated from Wisconsin to Portland, Oregon so that Jessica could be closer to her parents, who helped Brianna care for Braeson. However, Robert soon left Portland and returned home to his own family when Brianna called it quits on their relationship as he was not fully committed to being her boyfriend and a father figure for her son. Brianna then began a new relationship with another transgender female to male named Jayden. However, her family disapproved of him because he was using Brianna for money and fame. Plus Jayden admitted to cheating on Brianna with one of his exes and left Portland. Brianna questioned her son's paternity when one of her former exes contacted her and asked to take a DNA test to find out if he was Braeson's father. It was later confirmed that Braeson's father was a completely different guy, which shocked Brianna. However, she was determined to give Braeson's biological father a chance to prove himself. After weeks of lack of communication between her and Braeson's father, his girlfriend contacted Brianna and told her to leave them both alone or else something would happen, as she threatened Brianna. After getting advice from the legal authorities, Brianna decided to have her son's father's rights stopped for future reference but agrees to let him support their son financially. Since the drama, Brianna has not seen nor heard from her son's father, but it was also confirmed before the DNA test that Braeson does have a biological half-sibling from his father's side.
Since the show ended, Brianna has continued to be a responsible mother to her son, who still struggles with his missing limb, but Brianna is determined to show and bring more awareness to other people with the same condition that Braeson has.
